It is He Who sends down water from the sky from which We bring forth growth of every kind, and from that We bring forth the green shoots and from them We bring forth close-packed seeds, and from the spathes of the date palm date clusters hanging down, and gardens of grapes and olives and pomegranates, both similar and dissimilar. Look at their fruits as they bear fruit and ripen. There are Signs in that for people who believe.
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-An’am (The Cattle), Surah # 6: Ayah # 99)

It is He Who produces gardens, both cultivated and wild, and palm-trees and crops of diverse kinds, and olives and pomegranates, both similar and dissimilar. Eat of their fruits when they bear fruit and pay their due on the day of their harvest, and do not be profligate. He does not love the profligate.
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-An’am (The Cattle), Surah # 6: Ayah # 141)

It is He Who sends down water from the sky. From it you drink and from it come the shrubs among which you graze your herds. And by it He makes crops grow for you and olives and dates and grapes and fruit of every kind. There is certainly a Sign in that for people who reflect.
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Nahl (The Bees), Surah # 16: Ayah # 10-11)

Also a tree springing out of Mount Sinai, which produces oil, and relish for those who use it for food.
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Mu’minun (The Believers), Surah # 23: Ayah # 20)

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The metaphor of His Light is that of a niche in which is a lamp, the lamp inside a glass, the glass like a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east nor of the west, its oil all but giving off light even if no fire touches it. Light upon Light. Allah guides to His Light whoever He wills and Allah makes metaphors for mankind and Allah has knowledge of all things.
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Nur (The Light), Surah # 24: Ayah # 35)

By the fig and the olive and Mount Sinai and this safe land, We created man in the finest mould.
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Tin (The Fig), Surah # 95: Ayah # 1-4)

We pour down plentiful water, then split the earth into furrows. Then We make grain grow in it, and grapes and herbs and olives and dates and luxuriant gardens and orchards and meadows, for you and your livestock to enjoy.
(Holy Quran, Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned), Surah # 80: Ayah # 25-32)
