Quotations of Some Prophets/Pious Peoples from Holy Quran

Hazrat Yusuf (A.S.):

‘What you serve apart from Him are only names which you and your forefathers have made up. There is no mandate for them from Allah. Allah alone is qualified to judge. His order is to worship none but Him. That is in truth the straight and upright religion, but most of mankind simply do not know.’
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Yusuf(The Prophet Joseph) 12:Ayah 40)

Hazrat Luqman (A.S.):

‘My son, do not associate anything with Allah. Associating others with Him is a terrible wrong.’
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Luqman 31:Ayah 12-13)

‘My son, even if something weighs as little as a mustard-seed and is inside a rock or anywhere else in the heavens or earth, Allah will bring it out. Allah is All-Pervading, All-Aware. My son, perform prayer and command what is right and forbid what is wrong and be steadfast in the face of all that happens to you. That is certainly the most resolute course to follow. Do not avert your face from people out of haughtiness and do not strut about arrogantly on the earth. Allah does not love anyone who is vain or boastful. Be moderate in your tread and lower your voice. The most hateful of voices is the donkey’s bray.’
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Luqman 31:Ayah 16-19)

Hazrat Ilyas (A.S.):

‘Allah is your Lord and Lord of your forefathers, the previous peoples.’
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Al Saffat(Those Ranged in Ranks) 37:Ayah 126)

Hazrat Musa (A.S.):

‘My people! Remember Allah’s blessing to you when He appointed Prophets among you and appointed kings for you, and gave you what He had not given to anyone else in all the worlds!’
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Al Ma’idah(The Repast) 5:Ayah 20)

‘What an evil thing you did in my absence after I left! Did you want to hasten your Lord’s command?’
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Al A’raf(The Heights) 7: Ayah 151)

‘What you have brought is magic. Allah will certainly prove it false. Allah does not uphold the actions of corrupters.’
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Yunus(Jonah) 10:Ayah 81)

‘My people, did not your Lord make you a handsome promise? Did the fulfillment of the contract seem too long to you or did you want to unleash your Lord’s anger upon yourselves, so you broke your promise to me?’
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Ta’ha 20:Ayah 86)

Hazrat Isa (A.S.):

‘He has made me blessed wherever I am and directed me to perform prayer and give the alms as long as I live.’
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Maryam (Mary) 19:Ayah 31)

‘Tribe of Israel, I am the Messenger of Allah to you, confirming the Torah which came before me and giving you the good news of a Messenger after me whose name is Ahmad.’
(Holy Qur’an, Surah Al Saff(The Battle Array) 61: Ayah 6)
