Holy Quran guides us towards the Right Path

Fight - History

Fight:
What reason could you have for not fighting in the Way of Allah–for those men, women and children who are oppressed and say, ‘Our Lord, take us out of this city whose inhabitants are wrongdoers! Give us a protector from You! Give us a helper from You!’? (75) Those who believe fight in the Way of Allah. Those who disbelieve fight in the way of false gods. So fight the friends of Satan! Satan’s scheming is always feeble. (76)
(Holy Quran, Surah An-Nisa’(Women), Surah # 4: Ayah # 75-76)

Those believers who stay behind–other than those forced to by necessity–are not the same as those who strive in the Way of Allah, sacrificing their wealth and themselves. Allah has given those who strive with their wealth and themselves a higher rank than those who stay behind. Allah has promised the Best to both, but Allah has preferred those who strive over those who stay behind by an immense reward. (95) (Allah has preferred those who strive over those who stay behind by an immense reward:) high ranks conferred by Him as well as forgiveness and mercy. Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (96)
(Holy Quran, Surah An-Nisa’(Women), Surah # 4: Ayah # 95-96)

Anyone who turns his back on them that day, unless he is withdrawing to rejoin the fight or withdrawing to support another group, brings Allah’s anger down upon himself. His refuge is Hell. What an evil destination! (16)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War), Surah # 8: Ayah # 16)

O Prophet! Spur on the believers to fight. If there are twenty of you who are steadfast, they will overcome two hundred; and if there are a hundred of you, they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are people who do not understand. (65) Now Allah has made it lighter on you, knowing there is weakness in you. If there are a hundred of you who are steadfast, they will overcome two hundred; and if there are a thousand of you, they will overcome two thousand with Allah’s permission. Allah is with the steadfast. (66)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War), Surah # 8: Ayah # 65-66)

Allah has bought from the believers their selves and their wealth in return for the Garden. They fight in the Way of Allah and they kill and are killed. It is a promise binding on Him in the Torah, the Gospel and the Qur’an and who is truer to his contract than Allah? Rejoice then in the bargain you have made. That is the great victory. (111)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Tawbah (The Repentance) or Bara’ah (The Disavowal), Surah # 9: Ayah # 111)

But the Messenger and those who believe along with him have strived with their wealth and with themselves. They are the people who will have the good things. They are the ones who are successful. (88)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Tawbah (The Repentance) or Bara’ah (The Disavowal), Surah # 9: Ayah # 88)

And how is it with you that you do not give in the Way of Allah, when the inheritance of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah? Those of you who gave and fought before the Victory are not the same as those who gave and fought afterwards. They are higher in rank. But to each of them Allah has promised the Best. Allah is aware of what you do. (10) Who will make a good loan to Allah so that He may multiply it for him? He will have a generous
reward. (11)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Hadid (The Iron), Surah # 57: Ayah # 10-11)

Allah loves those who fight in His Way in ranks like well-built walls. (4)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al Saff (The Battle Array), Surah # 61: Ayah # 4)

Fire:
Have you thought about the fire that you light? (71) Is it you who make the trees that fuel it grow or are We the Grower? (72) We have made it to be a reminder and a comfort for travellers in the wild. (73)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Waqi’ah (The Inevitable), Surah # 56: Ayah: 71-73)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Friends:
They would like you to disbelieve as they disbelieve so that you will all be the same. Do not take any of them as friends until they have migrated in the Way of Allah. But if they run away then seize them and kill them wherever you find them. Do not take any of them as either a friend or helper. (89) Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: Therefore if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (Guarantees of) peace, then Allah Hath opened no way for you (to war against them). (90) You will find others who desire to be safe from you and safe from their own people. Each time they are returned to dissension they are overwhelmed by it.If they do not keep away from you or submit to you or refrain from fighting, seize them and kill them wherever you find them. Over such people We have given you clear authority. (91)
(Holy Quran, Surah An-Nisa’(Women), Surah # 4: Ayah # 89-91)

Those who disbelieve are the friends and protectors of one another. If you do not act in this way there will be turmoil in the land and great corruption. (73)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War), Surah # 8: Ayah # 73)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Haraam:
Say: ‘I do not find, in what has been revealed to me, any food it is forbidden to eat except for carrion, flowing blood, and pork–for that is unclean– or some deviance consecrated to other than Allah. But if anyone is forced to eat it, without desiring to or going to excess in it, your Lord is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’ (145)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-An’am (The Cattle), Surah # 6: Ayah # 145)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hardwork:
For truly with hardship comes ease; (5) truly with hardship comes ease. (6) Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, (7) And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. (8)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Sharh or Al-Inshirah (The Expansion of the Breast), Surah # 94: Ayah # 5-8)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hazrat Muhammad (S. A. W.)[related to]:
Whoever obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah. If anyone turns away, we did not send you to them as their keeper. (80)
(Holy Quran, Surah An-Nisa’(Women), Surah # 4: Ayah # 80)

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but the Messenger of Allah and the Final Seal of the Prophets. Allah has knowledge of all things. (40)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Ahzab (The confederates), Surah # 33: Ayah # 40 )

The Prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers. But blood-relations have closer ties to one another in the Book of Allah than other believers and the emigrants, except that you should act in a proper manner towards your close associates. That is inscribed in the Book. (6)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Ahzab (The confederates), Surah # 33: Ayah # 6)

You have an excellent model in the Messenger of Allah, for all who put their hope in Allah and the Last Day and remember Allah much. (21)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Ahzab (The confederates), Surah # 33: Ayah # 21)

Allah and His angels call down blessings on the Prophet. You who believe! Call down blessings on him and ask for complete peace and safety for him. (56)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Ahzab (The confederates), Surah # 33: Ayah # 56)

As for those who call out to you from outside your private quarters, most of them do not use their intellect. (4) If they had only been patient until you came out to them, it would have been better for them. But Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (5)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Hujurat (The Chambers), Surah # 49: Ayah # 4-5)

Know that the Messenger of Allah is among you. If he were to obey you in many things, you would suffer for it. However, Allah has given you love of faith and made it pleasing to your hearts, and has made disbelief, deviance and disobedience hateful to you. People such as these are rightly guided. (7) It is a great favour from Allah and a blessing. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (8)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Hujurat (The Chambers), Surah # 49: Ayah # 7-8)

We sent Our Messengers with the Clear Signs and sent down the Book and the Balance with them so that mankind might establish justice. And We sent down iron in which there lies great force and which has many uses for mankind, so that Allah might know those who help Him and His Messengers in the Unseen. Allah is All- Strong, Almighty. (25)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Hadid (The Iron), Surah # 57: Ayah # 25)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Help:
So woe to those who perform prayer, (4) and are forgetful of their prayer, (5) those who show off (6) and deny help to others. (7)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al Ma’un (The Neighborly Assistance), Surah # 107, Ayah #4-7)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hereafter:
Whatever you have been given is only the enjoyment of the life of this world. What is with Allah is better and longer lasting for those who believe and trust in their Lord. (36)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Shura (Consultation), Surah # 42: Ayah # 36)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
History:
Or did you suppose that you would enter the Garden without facing the same as those who came before you? Poverty and illness afflicted them and they were shaken to the point that the Messenger and those who believed with him said, ‘When is Allah’s help coming?’ Be assured that Allah’s help is very near. (2:214)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah (The Heifer), Surah # 2: Ayah #214)

We sent Messengers to nations before you, and afflicted those nations with hardship and distress so that hopefully they would humble themselves. (42) If only they had humbled themselves when Our violent force came upon them! However, their hearts were hard and Satan made what they were doing seem attractive to them. (43) When they forgot what they had been reminded of, We opened up for them the doors to everything, until, when they were exulting in what they had been given, We suddenly seized them and at once they were in despair. (44) So the last remnant of the people who did wrong was cut off. Praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds! (45)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-An’am (The Cattle), Surah # 6: Ayah # 42-45)

And likewise in every city We set up its greatest wrongdoers to plot in it. They plot against themselves alone, but they are not aware of it. (123)
(HSurah Al-An’am (The Cattle), Surah # 6: Ayah # 123)

We have never sent a Prophet to any city without seizing its people with hardship and distress so that hopefully they would be humble. (94)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-A’araf (The Heights), Surah # 7: Ayah # 94)

If only the people of the cities had believed and guarded against evil, We would have opened up to them blessings from heaven and earth. But they denied the truth so We seized them for what they earned. (96)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-A’araf (The Heights), Surah # 7: Ayah # 96)

That is because Allah would never change a blessing He has conferred on a people until they had changed what was in themselves. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (53)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War), Surah # 8: Ayah # 53)

And (He turned) also towards the three who were left behind, so that when the earth became narrow for them, for all its great breadth, and their own selves became constricted for them and they realised that there was no refuge from Allah except in Him, He turned to them so that they might turn to Him. Allah is the Ever-Returning, the Most Merciful. (118)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Tawbah (The Repentance) or Bara’ah (The Disavowal), Surah # 9: Ayah # 118)

Your Lord would never have destroyed the cities wrongfully as long as their inhabitants were putting things right. (117)
(Holy Quran, Surah Hud (The Prophet Hud), Surah # 11: Ayah # 117)

We have given you all this news about the Messengers so We can make your heart firm by means of it. The truth has come to you in this and an admonishment and reminder to the believers. (120)
(Holy Quran, Surah Hud (The Prophet Hud), Surah # 11: Ayah # 120)

Everyone has a succession of angels in front of him and behind him, guarding him by Allah’s command. Allah never changes a people’s state until they change what is in themselves. When Allah desires evil for a people, there is no averting it. They have no protector apart from Him. (11)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Ra’d (The Thunder), Surah # 13: Ayah # 11)

When We desire to destroy a city, We send a command to the affluent in it and they become deviant in it and the Word is justly carried out against it and We annihilate it completely.
(Holy Quran, Surah Al Isra’ (The Night Journey) or Bani Isra’il (The Children of Israel), Surah # 17: Ayah # 16)

…Magicians do not prosper wherever they go.’ (69)
(Holy Quran, Surah Ta Ha, Surah 20, Ayah # 69)

Allah has promised those of you who believe and do right actions that He will make them successors in the land as He made those before them successors, and will firmly establish for them their religion with which He is pleased and give them, in place of their fear, security. ‘They worship Me, not associating anything with Me.’ Any who disbelieve after that, such people are deviators. (55)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al Nur (The light), Surah # 24: Ayah # 55)

She (Queen of Sheba) said, ‘When kings enter a city, they lay waste to it and make its mightiest inhabitants the most abased. That is what they too will do.’ (34)
(Holy Quran, Surah Al-Naml (The Ants), Surah # 27: Ayah # 34)

We never sent a warner into any city without the affluent people in it saying, ‘We reject what you have been sent with.’ (34) They also said, ‘We have more wealth and children. We are not going to be punished.’ (35)
(Holy Quran, Surah Saba’ (Sheba), Surah # 34, Ayah # 34-35)

How many generations before them We destroyed who had greater force than them and scoured many lands! Did they find any way of escape? (36) There is a reminder in that for anyone who has a heart, or who listens well, having seen the evidence. (37)
(Holy Quran, Surah QAF, Surah # 50: Ayah # 36-37)
